Massage Therapist
Luther McLain – RMT
Luther's lifelong involvement in mountain sports resulted in a first hand appreciation of the benefits of massage and physiotherapy. He graduated from the 3,000 hour program at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, British Columbia in June, 2006 and has been working as a massage therapist since.
He has a special interest in the prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries, MVA rehabilitation, and is a firm believer in the benefits of massage related to sports training and recovery. Of the broad scope of techniques and modalities he is trained in, he often uses neuromuscular therapy, trigger point release, and myofascial mobilizations to meet the treatment goals. Homecare suggestions and activities comprise an important part of his treatments.
